On our way to Santiago, Chile

South America and Patagonia 2001

This was a lovely trip that took us from Santiago, Chile to Buenos Aires, Argentina. We spent several days in Santiago, including an excursion to a winery, then boarded our cruise ship in Valparaiso. We made our way down the coast of Chile before transiting Cape Horn and then sailing up the Argentine coast to the Falkland Islands, Montivideo, Uruguay and then Buenos Aires. We spent a week in Buenos Aires including a trip by Richard to Iguazu Falls.
