One of Mary Alice's super powers was her ability to promote and publicize and nowhere was this more evident than the amazing parade of major authors who made appearances at Mystery Lovers Bookshop.

Festival of Mystery

The Festival of Mystery was the major annual event at the bookstore. And a major annual event for many authors, particularly those who wrote traditional or cozy mystery. At it's height we would have 40 authors who would join us to meet perhaps 200 mystery readers who would chat and buy books and listen to interviews that I conducted with each and every author.
