A new V.I. Warshawski

A new V.I. Warshawski

This could be the best of the bunch and you will not want to miss it.
— Mary Alice

The Mistress of the mystery world turns her pen on to the t'weens caught up in the vampire novels of today's Chicago but shapes shift when a real dead body turns up with a metal rod through his heart in the cemetery where they meet. Suspense and spot-on dialogue color this mystery with the righteous 99% and a few frightened immigrant teens all working with VI's niece and sidekick Petra in a book club featuring the novels they worship and adore.

Politics local, Holocaust secrets and VI's righteous indignation propel a
plot involving many of the usual suspects in VI' extended family and lot's of action. This could be the best of the bunch and you will not want to miss it. I say this is a place to start for new fans and one for the must read for followers of this gutsy woman of mystery.
